Hi, in a recent project I was working with top level execs and finding my business theory limited. My degree is an analytical subject rather than business or economics so my only business qualification is an A Level. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a course that would further my business theory and open more doors to this type of work as I'd like to do more!Cheers

They are known for bold extrapolation/wild BS'ing on the basis of a few half-remembered factoids.In this respect, a distance-learning post-grad diploma in management studies will provide all the theory you need, without the high course and opportunity costs of a full-time Masters. You can top it up by reading accessible business press, such as the Harvard Business Review, and anything by Martin Lukes.

The M.Phils are if you want to go on to a PhD and then an academic career, but they are expressly not recommended for those wanting to go into practice. The admissions tutors will guide you towards alternative programmes if they suspect you are looking for a practitioner career or don't have evidence of prior academic interest in business/management.M.Sc and MA programmes would be more suitable for your needs.
