Hi All,I am considering studying a management course in UK and am interested in consulting. I have about 4-5 yrs experience in junior management roles (HR). I would like some advice on courses that will add value and give me an opening in consultancy firmsIs the LSE course in management (1 yr duration)a good option-do consulting firms recruit regularly from LSE? Typically, Which B-schools in UK do the reputed consulting firms recruit from ?Any advice on this would be appreciated

You might as well do an MBA if you have 4-5 yrs experience. The LSE MSc Management is more suited to those without any work experience or business background, so you're unlikely to get as much from it as you'd like. See the FT or Economist MBA rankings for a starting point, and check out the recruitment reports on schools' websites - they typically list which companies recruited their graduates in the previous year.

S - anon (the other one not me!) is right. WIth that level of experience you are better off doing an MBA. As well as looking at the FT or Economist you could call a couple of companies you would be interested in working for at some point and ask which schools they typically go with for MBAers.
