I am unlike a typical person to just finish a MSc in Finance as I have 10 years of co-founding highly successful technological start-ups that are each generating seven-digit figure revenues annually. I have been the driving force behind all of these businesses being the defacto Technical head.I would now like to change the focus of my career to a position in Consulting, either in London or Switzerland.. I would just like to ask the people on the forum for their advice/guidance and help they can provide me on how to apply and what role would be suitable for me. Also, if there are any recruiters here who might be interested with my background, I would be happy to provide more info if you email me at tc_forumpost@pobox.com

Go independent - there isn't a position in Consulting that wouldn't feel like constrained, apart from Partner, but you don't have the experience to be a Partner in anything other than a very small niche firm. If you're going to be a "partner" in a 2-3 person company, you might as well be independent (or team up with people you already know well).

I don't mind working from the bottom to my way up, besides despite my experience I am only 24 yrs old. I did all of my achievements while I was in high school or in university... Not sure going independent is what I like to do -- age being one factor and my need for more exposure before taking that leap.

So you have been creating ventures since 14 years old each generating 7 figure revenues? And yet for some reason you want to work for someone else, and work from the bottom up.It looks like and smells like..

I think may want to focus his career on a position in Switzerland so as to have easy access to his Swiss bank accounts which hold all the money he has made from all of the websites for which he was the defacto driving force between the age of 14 to 24, which generate seven-digit revenues annually - each.Seriously - given what you say, why on earth would you want to become a small cog in a big faceless consultancy machine?

Does the seven digits include the two after the decimal point?

Maybe it's 7 digits until he converts the pence into pounds?
