Could anybody help me to understand what a typical consulting day/hour might involve? I've read a few 'days in the life' of consultants and mostly people talk about using powerpoint, excel, attending meetings etc but could anybody break that down for me more, ie are you mainly adding figures, doing graphs, writing reccomendations for clients? Hopefully someone can enlighten me and save me from buying the consultancy for dummies guide for xmas!
