I have a first interview with Monitor for their Jo burg office and I was wondering if any one on here had interviewed at Monitor before? What should I expect for the case interview. What's their culture and interview style like. Also will the first interview be specific to the location I am applying for? I really do not know what to expect but I want to smash it as it will be a brilliant opportunity and Monitor is my first choice MC. I loved the people I met at careers fairs. They are really helpful and seem to have great emphasis on training and development. Any help or hared experiences will very useful Thanks

I had 1st round interview for Joburg office in new york - was a relatively standard case study, as well as a few personal questions (skill based). Got through to final round which was a group case study. Not a very pleasant experience as I was in with 2 MBAs and the 2 interviewers didnt say anything - we had to run the whole thing. They give you a load of info on a case (way too much) and you have to answer 4 questions and present them. Know the joburg job typically pays poorly as in rand. Training difficult as its a long way from major cities. HR head there called Glenn bluffed his way through this question when i asked. still, africa is epic. do it. hope that helps.
