HR Balanced Scorecard

Clive Bonny

WHAT IS THE BALANCED SCORECARD? A framework developed by Kaplan and Norton in Harvard USA which balances the value of strategic inputs (“leading indicators”) with financial outputs (“lagging indicators”) to enable an organisation to improve the way it plans, measures and communicates success.

A well-managed organization, whether it is for profit or non-profit, must be effective and efficient in both the short and long run.

Clients vs. Stakeholders

Dr. Ichak Adizes

A well-managed organization is effective.

An organization is like the Universe.

What is going on? I suggest that there are several reasons for the host of cases brought to trial, and that there are some effective steps we can take to bring about changes in behavior. Although many cases are clearly ethical in nature, involving executives who actually stole from the company, I submit that in a significant number of these cases, those who were brought to justice were not fully conscious of their breach of ethics.
