Whilst I'm sure they do a lot of "change management", I don't think they actually have a practice dedicated to it? Their practices are industry-aligned, I thought?

hmm, the rumour is that Booz London offered every 'hired' MBA candidate for this year 10K to walk away from the contract....supposedly because they have great difficulties coping with the credit crisis / recession....

I know the firm very well and if what you say is true, then they have changed significantly since I last interacted with them.a) It means they've renamed and re-cut their practice areas. Which would be odd, seeing as the heads of each practice were typically focused on specific industries/sectors.b) It means that they've changed their staffing model, so that people now get to specialise in specific areas. I thought that, at least amongst the junior ranks, the idea was that people worked across a range of practices as required and then only became aligned with a particular practice once they got to about senior associate level. Can anyone confirm this or otherwise?
