Hi all,Has anyone heard of the £ 1 billion dollar in revenue company called Sopra Group ( IT Consulting )? If so, what's their reputation?

Went for a grad interview with this company in London a couple of years ago and they were a very disorganized bunch. Turned up and the interview was very scrappy indeed. Left me on my own to write on a bit of plain paper about something I had done and lesson I'd learnt from it. Could have just asked me - very Mickey Mouse.Might have just caught them on a bad day but I got the distinct impression this company is huge in France and the UK was just experimental. Big client's likely only French i.e. AXA.

Some years ago I worked for a consultancy they took over. They were very dizorganised. From what I know from a freelance friend who regularly works for them as a contractor it's still true.That said they were a nice bunch of people.To answer the first question they have a management consulting subsidiary called Orgaconsultants, a significant player in France. From what I've heard the merger has been less than successful. Most of the senior executives left last year to create their own boutique.Don't know what they do in the UK in consulting.

We are one of Sopra's client and we are very happy with their service.They are probably the best in the field of Testing Consultancy. We always hire their Software Testing Managers above any other firm i.e. IBM, Atos, Accenture, etc.

You come on here on a Sunday to tell us this?

We have used Sopra in various areas and I must say they have done a decent job compared to many of their larger competitors who charge a fortune for their consultant but provide poor delivery.
