Hm, I know that McK has JA (Junior Associate) position for PhDs and some exp candidates, but BCG and Bain don't have "Junior" positions. So you will need to sell yourself either as Associate or Consultant.Any other opinions?

Consultant or Jnr. Consultant. BCG do have such a position, at least in London.

As far as I know, Junior Consultant in BCG equals to Associate Consultant. Any BCGers?

Junior Consultant in the UK is PhD entry - equivalent to McKinsey Junior Associate. Not the same as Associate Consultant. If you came from a PhD this is what you would go in as, if your work experience is good enough, it might push you into 'Consultant' territory, otherwise JC is more appropriate. I know that at least McKinsey is pretty sensible at allocating people to the relevant category once they've applied even if the person hasn't put themselves in the right category. I would hope the same is true of BCG.

MBB, thanks for detailed reply. Could you also clarify who can enter BCG as Senior Associate?

Sorry, I'm not fully sure about Snr. Associates at BCG.I didn't think that anyone came in as this - I thought it was just Associates (i.e., grads) who had reached their second year. I may be wrong though and it may differ by office.
