Hi,Interested in joining KPMG (performance advisory with a change/od focus). Just a couple of quick questions if anyone with inside knowledge has a moment.1) Do they tend to welcome people from specialist boutique consultancies or do they have a particular preference for candidates from a standard Big4 background? (I take it as given that they need a high level of academic attainment but that's not a problem)2) I'm thinking I'd probably be applying at D grade, what would be the ball park salary? Thanks a lot

I can't comment on KPMG's preferred background, but I know someone who just joined as a D grade and their salary is in the late thirties.

I must be doing pretty well then, I'm only in my 30s and I'm a C-grade. Didn't realise I might have to wait nearly 50 years for promotion though...
