Kinds of projects? Entry requirements? Reputation? Exit options?Would SITE be a good path to more general strategy consulting in the future (in case I don&apos;t want to be stuck in IT-related work all my life and want to develop competancies in other areas)?

SITE is near the top of the tree for IT consulting but is too focussed to provide a good foundation for general business strategy consulting.

If I failed to get into strategy but would like strategy-type work, would SITE be a good path to follow? Or would other areas of MCIM provide a better foundation?I also don&apos;t really want the HR-type work under MCIM.. which leaves me only with FP&M and SC?

Well, have you got an offer from SITE? It is not easy to get into. Applicants have to do the same Potentia interview that all other strat applicants do. Don&apos;t just think you can call up HR and get them to change an ACG offer to a SITE offer.

Where do people go after SITE? Is it very IT focused like an IT/CIO position or would general management roles also be a possible path?

The general answer is - after you join a consulting house, the natural route is to go into IT Management/Leadership role within industry...The other option is - become a contractor.

To the person who said "I know that a lot of the best people in SITE have left in the last couple of years...." That is natural, people obviously move on and as they do the less experienced people move up to fill their boots. This is not a symptom of a bad group

how come ppl hate ACN so much??i recently switched from a big4 consulting group in technology risk to join acn for more consulting opportunities - is this a good move? i don&apos;t know yet because i will start work in 2 months.

ACN are big, hence the anti-ACN banter. When, the kind of argument is along the lines of a "missing H" I wouldn&apos;t take it too seriously.
