First day at a new client - everything gone well.Anyone got amusing stories of first day disasters at new clients?

I once worked with a guy who looked like a muppet and was an a$$hole... was glad to see the back of him. To this day I still fantasise about getting my revenge on him but I know it will never happen :(At the end of the project he did this "game" over a team dinner where we had to all share out funniest moments of tr project. I honestly couldn't even make something up, it was such an awful experience.

Not a new client, but a new job.I had agreed with the recruitment consultant that my start date would be a Thursday. This was confirmed in writing. I went out for my leaving drinks from my previous company on a Tuesday, I'd been there for 6 years and had left on good terms. The leaving do was savage, I woke up on Wednesday morning around 11am to the recruitment consultant calling me. He'd given my new boss the wrong date and new boss was wondering why I was over 2 hours late on my first day. I was in the office 90 minutes later, looking slightly worse for wear. I was a sign of things to come, I hated the job the company and left for Accenture within 6 months and now my life is perfect!
