Evening all,I have been successful in the interview process as an experienced hire, and a few weeks back was told they want to offer me a role. I have 7 years industry experience) and would be coming in at consultant level (don't know which one yet). It's financial services / insurance in London. What level salary should I expect?Also, can I negotiate a sign on bonus? I'll be missing out on my bonus this year when I resign. Thanks

Anyone?I've now had the job offer come through, it's Management Consultant Level 9, which is what I was expecting.The total pay package is a few grand less than what I earn now, but I realise that at Accenture I will have the opportunity to promote quickly and increase my pay quickly - if I do well. I've already made noises to the effect the offer is not enough. Is it possible to negotiate a better offer?I've been told their offer is the top end of the salary bracket for level 9. your selling yourself short by going to Accenture!

Hi....no your salary will not increase significantly once you have joined...so whatever you want , ask for before joining. In Accenture salary increases significantly only when you change grade from consultant to manager ..or manager to senior manager etc.Once you join at consultant level expect to stay at that level for at least 2 years minimum...during that time expect salary increase of between 2 % to 7%...

Thanks for this. I pretty much figured a promotion or pay rise in year one would be ambitious. So I’ve gone back to them with loss in year one and loss in year two, showing them by how much they need to come up by. My concern now is that what I’m asking for is outside the “bracket” and will they come up to that level?They’ve not come back straight away with a no. So I’ll just have to sit tight and see what their response is!
