Good morning all, Just a little background on myself. I went to a regionally known undergraduate school, Campbellsville University. Majored in business administration with an emphasis in business administration and economics. I graduated with a 3.54 GPA in 2015. Since then, I served as the GM for an Aarons franchise store for two years and have been the BM of a consumer finance company for the past year. I have always wanted to be in management consulting. With that being said, it may be difficult for me to attend and on campus MBA program. I have been considering doing the MBA@UNC, their online based MBA program. They have 5 immersion each year, of which I plan to attend 4 each year if I choose to do the program. I don't think I will be able to transition into a McKinsey or BCG consulting office once I finish. Given my background, what is the likelihood I could get an interview with a firm such as Deloiette once I completed the MBA@UNC? Does anyone have an experience with something like this? I've done quite a bit of research but haven't found much about the success rate of someone in operations management transitioning into consulting with an online MBA such as the MBA@UNC program. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
