I started interviewing for a permanent role at KPMG, but they recently changed tack and want to offer me a contractor role instead.I've heard via recruiters that this is commonly happening at KPMG especially since their leadership changes this autumn.Anyone else got experience/views on this?Thanks

Not something I recognise as a trend from an internal perspective. There used to be an upside to taking on contractors instead of perms on a project perspective, but that would not be the deciding factor if the starting point was a perm position.
