Hi All,I'm hoping to get some advice from the collective knowledge of the forum.I'm in the very early stages of putting together a business case to request either partial or full funding from my employer (a boutique strategy consultancy) for a full-time MBA. My firm hire a number of MBA grads, particularly in the US and I've seen them fund upto £10k towards other training but not heard of anyone requesting MBA funding. I've been at the firm 6 months and intend to submit the business case in around 6 months time after I've completed the GMAT.Any suggestions on the types of things that I could include in this business case or advice on things to bring up when I raise this with senior management would be extremely helpful.Thanks in advance,W

Hey Whizz - can you give any further info re. the timing of you leaving to do an MBA? I might have some thoughts on what to include in your submission, but my biggest question mark would be around a firm committing to sponsoring you for an MBA when you've only worked for them for 1 year?Tony

Hey Tony,I'm looking to start the MBA in Autumn 2018, so will have been at my current firm for 2 years before taking the time out. I agree that it's probably a big ask, but equally could be worth it if they will fund it in-part or in-full.The other question that I am asking myself is whether I would benefit leveraging the MBA to joining a firm like OW / LEK / ATK / Alixpartners and that the saving made by my current firm's input could be offset by joining a firm of the calibre listed above. My aim is to only do the MBA if I can get into a top 20 school. Appreciate any advice or insight you have.W
