Yes depending which bit of hitachi - it goes like this1. If as a consultant you do things quickly - microwave ovens might be your bit2. If doing things on time and keeping on track - then train building could be for you3. Watching training videos - then AV Consulting4. Digging up past history assingments - then plant and machinery5. Causing a stink in the market Air Conditioning Consultant

Probably one of the worst companies I've ever worked for. Terrible support structure, low pay, promotions based on whom you know rather than performance, self-delusions of grandeur, body-shopping, no investment in training etc. etc. etc. Save yourself now, don't bother!

Um... Hitachi Consulting is part of the larger Hitachi company and has solid financial backing. In saying that, the economy has been unkind to HC and several things have gone amiss. If you can negotiate a decent package you may not see a pay increase for a while. Some projects are more interesting than others. And some teams are better than others.Bottom line - it's the same as other places - same politics and issues, but comes across as much greater probably because of its size. So whatever happens in the company you'll feel the impact at some stage.Good luck with your decision
