HelloI have experienced hire final interview next week to meet senior manager and partner. I have industry knowledge but not consulting experience. How best do I prepare and I would also like to find out whether the case study will be in line with the job i am being considered for (SCM)

congratulations on the interview. btw, when you said final, is it your 3rd round interview? i am advised by a former mckinsey partner that their final @ 3rd round interview's approcah is the opposite of the 1st two.in the 1st two rounds you try hard to sell yourself while in the final @ 3rd round, the firm will try hard to sell themselves to you. the secret statement is: one you are called for 3rd interview, the probability of you getting hired is close to 99.9%. only an incredible turn of event will dissipate this.hence, assuming that your final interview is the final final .... i guess it is more of a convivial discussion between you and the senior managers ot patners. be yourself, be relax and be personable.

Because I have so much business experience the case & partner interview were extremely easy. However, during the Hr interview I discovered that consultants earn peanuts despite the long hours/hard work. I turned down the offer and i decided to remain in industry.

Hi Willy,I'm in the same situation as you were. How much less was the pay as a consultant? How many weeks was it between your second and third round?Perhaps I also should reconsider.
