At a business school conference a McKinsey consultant mentioned 250-300 applications to produce one hire. This was back in 2015ish. He also gave the cost-per-hire at $50,000. My mental maths wasn't quick enough to query this with him. It implies a hiring budget of $1.5bn....I don't have any info on the interview-to-hire ratio.

Whoops...my mental maths still not good. That figure should be $150m...
