I currently work as an operations management consultant at a junior level. I would like to continue working in the consulting industry, but find a job that requires significantly less interaction with other people. As an introvert, I would like to spend most of my time at work analysing data and producing outputs as opposed to interviewing clients or delivering presentations. What consulting companies and/or service lines would you recommend? I have some experience in finance, market research, strategy development, and change management. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

This one might be even too nerdy for me)) It looks like you need a PhD from an Ivy League school or Oxbridge to go places in this company. Unfortunately, I don't have a PhD. How about the big 4 and such? I'm sure they offer desk research jobs.

You could try a Market Research Agency or National Statistics.

Big 4 firms someimes end up using people in such roles. But I am not aware that they specifically go out and hire them very much. If they do, it would be into teams like data modelling or forensic accounting. Maybe one of specialist Financial Sector teams might be an avenue that you can investigate

how about actuarial work? very well paid, all desk based, maths focus, 9-5.i doubt a major consulting firm would take you on if you were honest about your aspiration during recruitment. You could try one of the consulting firms who have a management science division (PA, IBM (the old PWC business dynamics function) etc). Even there, though, you are likely to do client facing work.
