I have 3 years IT consulting experience and I want to move. I'm trying to narrow down the companies that I want to apply to so that I can focus on making 2-3 very good applications. I want to work for a big name brand where I can get a lot of good career boosting experience and learn some useful skills along the way.My experience so far after graduating has been with a very small, niche firm and unfortunately much of what I've learnt technically will not be applicable to other consultancies.When I look at most of the ads on this site, it seems like I wouldn't tick the right boxes. Hence, I need to find a recruiter who hire based on the caliber of the candidate rather than their specific technical skills. I want to move but I don't want to have to go back to square one in my career. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
