Recruiter Feedback

All, Very difficult to find a place on the internet to leave feedback about recruiters. Nonetheless, wanted to give some warning to fellow job seekers. Be warned - Morpheus Recruiting!! Had a very bad experience - the recruiter was unprofessional, & rude. Very pushy, gets a lot of personal information, tries to get names of co-workers. Pretends to be very chummy with the hiring Employers by insisting he is the only recruiter. Doesnt return your phone calls if he has nothing to offer - but leaves comments like "dont let me chase you" if you dont get back to him immediatley. Similar experience with Michael Page - they tell you how great and wonderful your Cv looks, and then try and push jobs on you that you are not interested in. What I find unacceptable - on all their websites, they state they are career coaches, offer feedback on CV, and excellent service. I am not alone in saying - this is completely UNTRUE. They offer no service to a job seeker, and are only nice when they get you secure an interview, and they think they may gain a commission. On the positive side - I recommend Roundpeg Associates and Nexus. Good service, nice people, good advice. We need watchdog to do a story on Recruiters. Job seeking is hard enough without having to deal with a Recruiter that acts like a Real Estate Agent.Good luck fellow Job Seekers.

Agree- Michael Page put you forward based on salary and keyword search. Therefore I was put forward for an HR director job (without being asked) based on the fact I started my career (10 years ago) in HR and a salary match. The fact I have spent 7 years out of HR didn't seem to bother them... and they haven't removed my CV from their database, though I asked them to

I agree about M. Page - having done 4 years in Big 4 consulting firms and looking for a fresh challenge I was offered a job as a junior accountant at Burger King in Croydon. You have to laugh.
