What is Principal Director at Accenture? I consider a comeback and was offered Sr Mgr but see some guys reporting to my potential MD are at Principal Director level. In old days it was SM -> MD, know it seems they've introduce something in between. Is PD a notch higher, or is equivalent without having direct reprots?

Principal director is a level between senior manager and MD.Normally this only exists for the specialist track, where this is the highest level you can reach. Whereas in the regular consulting track, there's nothing between senior manager and MD.
I don't think so, the full title I've seen is Management Consulting Principal Director, it's definitely consulting
Yes, don't get me wrong, it's consulting but not the regular consulting career track where you're expected to go for MD / Partner level at the end. It's what they introduced years ago as "specialist track" and now call "innovation & thought leadership". Initially put in place as landing for people who didn't aspire to jump to MD level and focus on selling-selling-selling; nowadays it seems to get broader use in some geographies such as the UK.

All clear now, thanks a lot! It seems like an effort to keep seasoned guys (and their expertize) from leaving the company. How long you can be a Sr. Manager when all your peers in 'industry' have been on Director posts for years.

There Accomplice: More work, not all that much, despite everything you're slaving around attempting to drum business, you're reserved. Overseeing Director: You will accomplish additionally regulating and greater duty yet as indicated by what I read on them, the pay is in reality better and you don't go out on a limb to be kicked from being an accomplice and investor decisions et cetera. From its looks, there's no all the more cooperatingThanks,Adnopsis
