Does anybody understand what the likely effects of Brexit will be on UK based consulting firms that serve European clients and for European consulting firms that have London as their hub office? It seems to me that in the short term they could benefit from a weaker pound (depending on if they bill in GBP or EUR) and from new work from clients looking for help adjusting their strategy and ops to Brexit.I'm worried that in the longer run the effects could be negative. Is it likely to create significant barriers to serving EU clients due to red tape/taxes/tariffs/etc?How dependent is UK consulting on attracting talent through the free movement of labour and how much harder would this be outside the EU?How much does the consulting industry benefit from being in Europe's financial centre and how much will it be harmed by potential weakening of London? Not even mentioning that if the UK economy is damaged this could knock on to the consulting industry!Am I being overly worried? What haven't I thought of?
