I'm currently at EY and I'm thinking of moving on. I've been put forward for a couple of roles at PWC and Deloitte and i'm awaiting interview dates.I'm keen to leave EY because I'm not getting the level of work I'm happy with and, having joined from industry, I feel that I was brought in a grade too low on the promise of repapid progression due to my technical skills - this was a line and it hasn't happened (apparently this is quite common). One thing that's giving me second thoughts about leaving is that I am thinking that I'll want to start a family in a couple of years and EY has a very good maternity package (6 weeks full pay, 33 weeks half pay with no pay-back claise); that's a good deal to walk away from! I want to get an idea of how that compares with the other firms but I don't feel comfortable asking the question during the recruitment process. Can anyone shed any light on the policies at the other 3 Big 4 firms?-

Number of weeks' full pay
Number of weeks' half pay (or other level above SMP)
Number of weeks Statutory Maternity Pay/unpaid
Length of service required to qualify for the full enhanced maternity pay package
Whether "days in lieu" are added on for bank holidays
Thanks a bunch!

Not sure but I'd wager they're likely to all be very similar? So read your current contract to get a reasonable idea of what you might expect elsewhere?

Pretty reasonable. Don't know the answer to the rest of your questions.

7.5 months at Accenture, plus holidays I believe.Used to be higher but (controversially) reduced with introduction of Shared Parental leave. I think it is one of the highest around...

It's about 7 months at Accenture plus accrued annual leave, with no payback clause. Out of interest, is there a minimum qualifying time for EY? And you're certain there is no payback clause if you leave within a certain amount of time after returning from maternity leave?
