Happy New Year!Writing for some advice.I've spent around 9 years in consulting (couple of years in industry prior to that), much of which has been in the Big 4. Have been pushing for Director but more recently, over the last few months or so, have been getting very tired of the playing the game, poor payrises, silly hours, time away from family.Looking to move to industry or a smaller consulting firm (at least for a few years), build focus, greater responsibility, do something real (and predictable hours - I have a young family). Area of expertise is in Financial services - asset management/capital markets (process modelling, regulatory projects, large programmes, sourcing etc.).Its been a while since I've made my CV and looked for jobs. Feeling a bit rusty. I get the usual headhunter calls but have yet not come across any interesting opportunities. I will be reaching out to previous clients/contacts but would appreciate any advice from the group regarding reliable recruitment consultants/websites I could look at (apart from linkedin) and any pointers on the types of opportunities you are seeing out there. (from those of you who have recently switched jobs at a senior VP/Director level. Will appreciate any advice. Have a fantastic 2016.
