Hi Shamita:Would you like to work in the pharma side of consulting, or the systems side? The systems side is much bigger and more intricate, but most consulting firms work in the pharma side. If pharma is your answer, and you don't mind travelling, have a look at ZS Associates (Spain and US), Campbell Alliance (US for now), Bain, McK, Mercer (very big in this area), and AT Kearney. If you prefer the thought of working in the systems side, it's slim pickings for good, knowledgeable agencies, despite what you'll hear. Booz Allen is an outstanding agency, and highly regarded in the European and NA healthcare industries. ATK does outstanding work in operations analysis, and may do some in the NHS--not sure, but I imagine it would be successful if it did. PwC has a worthwhile practice, though I haven't seen much coming out of it these days. You'll also notice everyone creating healthcare practices, and, if you're an assertive, ambitious team leader, you might might yourself in the position of manager shortly.God luck to you. -- Matthew
