I work for a small technical and management consultancy (mostly technical) and have just over 1 years experience, mostly working in Information Assurance and Service Management. I have lots of client facing experience in that time.I am looking to transfer to a solely management consultancy firm (I am not particularly techie!) but I am not sure how best to go about it. I like the idea of strategy or operations. My background is a very good degree in maths from a top 10 uni (top of my year). I consider to have very strong problem solving and interpersonal skills. I would like to go for a smaller firm (<100) if possible. Preferably London based, though the South West is also an option. Ideally they would be able to give me exposure to both public and private sectors but not defence. Does anybody have any suggestion of companys I should look at, and should I be looking at graduate roles, or does my client facing experience give me an ability to jump into (slightly) experienced positions? All civil advice is appreciated. :)
