Hey Tommy. I came into consulting more than 2 decades ago with a major fear of presenting. I'd dried up when I stood up to address a question to Ken Clarke at a Cambridge Union debate and thereafter had a phobia I'd have the same kind of thing happen again. This was particularly odd as I'd done loads of presenting at school events prior to that, so it was something about the audience of strangers I think that I found daunting.Anyway - as soon as I joined Roland Berger I flagged to HR that I wanted one of my training priorities to be getting help with presentation skills. Long story short, I was sent on a course where I was filmed giving presentations. This gave me massive confidence that I was actually pretty good at this and that the fear was all in the mind. It also gave me a few little things to focus on doing better to come across even more confidently.I've never looked back.Presented loads on client site during my consulting career - and since then have presented to audiences of several hundred at a time both with Top-Consultant.com and with Social-Hire.comSo you're right to identify this as something to try and overcome - and knowing you need help here means you're well on the way to this not being an issue. Wish you all the best in finding some training to get you over this. Tony
thank you for the detailed reply. I am at a senior level and so far have managed to doge quite a few presentations in last 13 years...but as I get more senior, this cannot go on forever so looking at ways to overcome this.
