Hi there,I am going through the 'experienced hire' process at KPMG in the US, which so far has consisted with talking to a few people in HR, talking to a few directors and a partner and going to talk another partner soon.Anyways, my question is, what is the difference between "Senior Specialist" vs. "Senior Associate". Initially, when I applied it was for a Senior Associate role but they indicated they would place me as a Senior Specialist due to my specialized experience in the privacy industry and my lack of consulting experience (I work for a company doing privacy in house). HR indicated this was the same level and the same pay with the same advancement possibilities, but more focused on privacy and less on client face/management matters. My question is, what is the true difference here, and will the Senior Specialist role hamper me if I want to stay and move up the ladder within KPMG.thanks!
