Hi,I've accepted an offer from Deloitte as a Consulting in Risk Analytics for 2016 back in September. I like what Deloitte have to offer, how I would benefit from the graduate scheme with them, and what the role would offer. What I would like to know is what is the market demand is like and how respected consultants in analytics are? Whilst I am still going through interviews for banking and other consultancies, what I would be interested in doing is merging analytics with strategy and in-terms of career direction that is my initial target. Is this feasible from experience or knowledge? Do you think it is a good career decision to run with Deloitte?Kind regards,Joshua

I forget who it was, but a famous business leader once said that without data you are just another person with an opinion.Insights from data is the new oil. Get very good at it and never look back.

Thank you for that. I've just had the fortune to run into a management consultant who agreed with what you said. Data analytics is only going to become more important for business decisions.
