Hi, I have an offer from ACN, which is not really appealing gradewise. I have also a contracting offer which is good, however looks like the job may be boring, don't know yet. Hence i wish to check this out. I have to respond to ACN in 1 weeks time and i donot want to respond as No but want to keep the option open just in case i change my mind later on. The joining date for ACN is late Jan. My Qs is it legally binded that once i accept the Job offer, but then change my mind later on? Can i do that? Any advice?

What practice in consulting? MCIM? SI&T? I would be glad to advise you in greater detail about ACN, projects, and the current state of consulting if you provide more information.

It's not legally binding until you actually set foot on Accenture property or that of a client as a representative of Accenture. Frankly I don't think they would drag you off to court in any event - no company wants someone on board who dosen't want to be there so there is no issues on this point.

Thanks Anon, its SI&T, as consultant in SAP. Thanks Mars - Is there an proper wording wherein you can accept the offer but still reject the offer subsequently before joining. My dilemma is the pay and the grade of the offer, quite less for my kind of experience. Also if i reject the offer, what are my chances getting the offer may be after 2-3 years. Any ideas?
