Hi, I just applied to MBBB and in all the applications I applied to 2 offices (london and NY). I got a rejection letter from bain (argh) but wanted to know whether its for the first choice office or for both.Also, totally unrelated, how would you compare marakon, OC&C and capgemini..... is capgemini at a lower level?thanks

I'd put those three firms in this order:Cap GeminiMarakonOC&C

....where I would completely disagree with, as CG do hardly any real strategy work, and are more in the big pool with ACN, Deloittes etc. The other two a niche strat consultancies, and are as such not known to 'the man on the street'. Marakon enjoy an excellent reputation, and are apparently very hard to get into. OC&C is quite young, but well regarded as it is actually a spin-off of MCK.My ranking:1. Marakon2. OCC3. CGgood luck

I would agree with the order:OC&C/Marakon are far ahead of CG from a strat point of view. OC&C are not ex-McK, they're ex-Bain.

depends which OC&C office you apply for. some of the international ones are part owned franchise style affairs, trying to be part of the bigger whole but only beginning to get there. check them out v. carefully
