Hi AllAside from the typical full / part time MBA courses, what is the perception of the community (and, by extension, future employers) of courses offered by the top business schools in their "Executive Education" offerings? I'm ambivalent about the future value of an MBA, I'm not particularly looking to jump ship from my present empoyer and I cannot afford the luxury of spending 1 year without a salary. However I would like to extend some of the formal education on my CV by looking at perhaps the shorter term courses offered by places like LBS, INSEAD, IMD etc. Typically these are 3-4 weeks in length and can be easily managed in the context of a full time job.My motivations would be self-development and developing my network - but i would be interested in understanding how they are perceived by firms, recruiters and my peers. Are they the poor cousins of MBAs or can they be an interesting additions to CVs in their own right? Thanks for your inputs.Arby
