If you don't mind me asking, what was your reason for leaving and duration of employment? It may be helpful to provide greater context to your question so that people can provide you with a more succinct answer. I'm not too sure on the career path of strategy consultants, or indeed whether there is a standard. I would say that the very nature of it is that it opens many doors, rather than aligning to a defined career path.
