Hi Guys,I've passed through two interviews already with KPMG MC. One of which was very technical and quite hardcore, lots of questions on many areas.I thought that the next step is to meet a partner or HR person, but they said I have to come to an assessment centre. I find this shocking....Is it normal in the UK to attend an assessment centre for Manager and Senior Manager levels?I thought Assessment Centres are for graduates only? I find it crazy that they want manager and senior manager level to attend these....its ridiculous...Does anyone have any experience attending assessment centres for Senior Managers? What is it like and what are they actually looking for?I was told that it will be one full day....that's a long day....Would love to hear your feedback on this, really appreciate it!Cheers!

Hey hugitosmojitos,Deloitte had the practice of asking candidates to attend assessment centre up to Senior Manager level. Senior Manager's are considered to be part of 'internal management' so their evaluation process was different.Good luck at your day and I already assume your awareness on entering the shark tank, as your rivals at M Level 3 will be some of the most battle-hardened ones.

Hi Ronin,That's very interesting....am really surprised by assessments for a level like that...personally I feel disrespected....am thinking to pull out my application....just ridiculousIt's like telling someone who drove F1 cars and done many races and then these dumbass consulting companies want you to come for an assessment to see if you know the basics of driving...Anyhow, thanks for the reply. If anyone here knows what it involves, please let me know. Probably some stupid exercises....these consulting companies are really complicating things, aren't they? While their job is to simplify...NOTAs for the battle field Ronin, am fully equipped with cowboy guns, sleeping tablets, and a heavyweight punch that destroys the opponent with one punch > K.O > Into the hospital with few months in Coma - John
