I have an offer from ACN to join them in mid Aug. Will I be eligible for pay rise in Sept coz if there is a big pay rise and I am not eligible, then I shall have the lowest salary in the category. Please advise and how to deal with this. Thks

Of course you will be eligible! It is common practice amongst employers to give their staff a "big pay rise" two weeks after they join! After all, you are a High Achiever! Hope this helps you "deal with this situation".

Just admit it - you wanted the whole wide world know that you're entering a new chapter of your life now that you've got an offer from Accenture. You daft question was just an excuse..

if its a general inflation increase then yes you will get a pay rise. i joined in aug 2007 at 28.5k...and in sept the base salary increased for me to 31k in just 4 weeks....so dont listen to these clowns.
