I have an offer from ACN to join them in mid Aug. Will I be eligible for pay rise in Sept coz if there is a big pay rise and I am not eligible, then I shall have the lowest salary in the category. Please advise and how to deal with this. Thks

Of course you will be eligible! It is common practice amongst employers to give their staff a "big pay rise" two weeks after they join! After all, you are a High Achiever! Hope this helps you "deal with this situation".

What a stupid question. How did you manage to get into Accenture with no common sense?!Of course you won't get a pay rise, and if you have the 'lowest salary in the category' is that an issue? You've obviously accepted their offer and already, why do you think they would give you more a week in? So stupid.

if its a general inflation increase then yes you will get a pay rise. i joined in aug 2007 at 28.5k...and in sept the base salary increased for me to 31k in just 4 weeks....so dont listen to these clowns.
