Hello everybodyAny thoughts on Capgemini specifically technology advisory at the Principal level? I have read a few negative comments on this forum and would appreciate a more up-to-date view re. working culture, salary, type of projects, etc. Many thanks

Recruiter

I recruit For Capgemini and as a business (and obviously I don't work for them), they appear to be more relaxed, less competitive and more collaborative than many of the other big firms. Tech Advisory (known as tech Transformation) is a cross sector practice, working under the headline of IT enabled Bus Transformation, which can include anything from large scale Technology Transformation through to Lean IT and Sourcing. Sales target for Principals is circa £1.5m - £2m pa.Salary for Principal Con is circa £85k base - £125k base, + 19% flex benefits + circa 205 - 25% bonus. They are not currently recruiting at Principal level within Tech Transformation as far as I'm aware.Hope this helps.

collaboration is all over their marketing spiel but in reality they are one of the most internally competitive shops around - the organisational structure is a mess, with lots of go to market overlap, and the performance metrics drive some very bad behaviours. if you do go ahead, look at the TS division, not the consulting one, as the working culture is better

Do you work at Capgemini then? How have you got this information, it is very different to the feedback I have gained from people.

They have restructured how they do their performance reviews in the last few months.
