Hi everyone,I have my final partner interview next week (regionalised) for Ops Transformation consultancy position as a 'Manager'.... Experienced Hire.Having gone through the long and winding process, was hoping someone may be able to provide me with some pointers... Having read mixed reports via google.Thanks in advance Sam

If you've made it this far, I'd guess the job is yours to lose. Partner interviews are usually more about personal and cultural fit than testing your technical capabilities.

Correct, as a recent ex manager in PwC - it's all about cultural fit etc.You've done the hard bit.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.. Thought as much really!Any reason for leaving PWC as a manger?As for the process....Meeting with a director via linkedin at London offices. Invited to formally apply...App formOnline tests x2Technical interviewAssessment centreAnd now final partner interview...Then I may find out the usual, salary etc. May I ask anyone who's been a regional manager in consulting what the salary is likely to be in he region of?RegardsSam

Depends on the sub-competency, sector, region and your own negotiating position. However I would imagine one might expect the salary band to fall between the mid-40s and the mid-60s for a regional manager. Which region?

Well I'm coming out of the public sector (police)Going into public sector and local govt and based in the northern region..Although consultancy so will work wherever I guess...Thanks sam

Yes it is. The interview is very much a final hurdle to test the internal process is working as much as anything. If you've got this far you don't have too much to worry about!

Hi No bluff too tough,I had a phone call confirming I passed my final interview and will receive a formal offer once the business case is completed for my post.As a word of advice please, I put on my initial application form my expected salary was 50k. Are they likely to come up at me with this amount? and if they do how am I best approaching the matter?CheersSam

Sam, congrats! I believe the top of the bracket is ~55k, so you could try pushing but i know they tend to play hardball around negotiations. Good luck...
