Hi guys,For anybody who has recently moved firm, did your new contract include a probationary/trial period?I'm looking to buy my first property soon and the mortgage provider has informed me that they are happy to lend straight away on a new salary (providing no more than 3 months between pay checks), but not during any probationary period.Thanks in advance,C

So this has become the norm for hires to include a probationary period clause in the offer letter. This is a strategy by the companies incase you are not who they thought you were during your interview process.Generally the mortgage company does not need to see your offer letter that shows probationary period. They need pay stubs that have no indication of probation, unless you live in a country that has that type of information.
