expected to get a Ph.D in science in 2 years from a top university in Japan. I am interested in hi-tech intellectural properties and consulting jobs. Is there any possibilites for me to get into such careers?although i am a science student, i concerns very much about international finance & economic-political affairs. Hi,I just finished my science PhD and started at a big 4. It's done easily enough, although at most places you'll be starting off at graduate level. A PhD doesn't really give you skills that are applicable enough to go in higher. You don't need much b'ness or finance knowledge - just a broad awareness of current issues. So you're doing plenty already.Which country do you want to work in? If the UK, then I would get your English a little more polished (no offence). Any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer.

I have a BSc in biology, now am studying biophysics (cell membranes). How can I connect those knowledge with a consulting job? how about your work load? is there a great amount of new things needed to study for your job? what do you think about the most difficulties for us science graduates?I like learning english though it's difficult for me. And I welcome any comments which can help me improve english.:) I was planning to find a position in Asia: Tokyo, Shanghai, Hongkong or Singapore where I can make use of my asian background. But if there are also some possibilities to get into EU or US located companies through global recruiting, I'd love to try my best!
