Currently working in Acn doing some HP and change stuff. Been here 2 years and looking to either move on to a more strategic role in industry (corp finance or in house strategy). Would employers view me favourably since I'm in the management consulting practice as opposed to systems integration or am i looking at further study to do what I want?

It depends on what you accomplished and the skills you gained. The management consulting practice is more strategic and certainly a better fit for a strategic industry role. Read the book "Mobilizing Minds" to learn about the importance of organizational design and effectiveness and talent. In HP at Accenture (org chg specifically), you will hopefully understand the importance of connecting organizational effectiveness and strategy to corporate strategy, shareholder value, etc. Again though, what you accomplished in your roles will be the most important factor.
