HiI am a recent graduate from university in the U.K and have NO industry experience in the I.T./I.S. industry whatsoever but for reasons, which I won’t bore you with, I am interested in a career as an SAP contract consultant. How realistic is it for me to get SAP certified and find a junior position form which to build up experience off the back of certification alone? What sort of rate could I expect to charge in the beginning? And what solution should I train in given I lack any (real) industry experience in anything. Many thanks.

Probably unlikely I would say given the evidence you have presented here.Experience is wat counts and SAP consulting, along with watching Dulux egg shell acrylic paint drying is about as boring as job that anyone could do.
