Hey all,I graduated a few months ago and unfortunately ended up with a 2:2. I had a number of difficulties but the major consultancy (it begins with "A" allegedly) have been considerate and still offered the place to me.I have been enjoying my time so far. However, say if, hypothetically, things don't work out in the way I want my career to span and I decide to leave, will other companies hold the 2:2 against me (regardless of my time at the forementioned consultancy)?I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Depends on how long you are in the role and what you achieve doing it. Put simply, if you leave within a short time you are likely to find yourself explaining away the 2:2 all over again - possibly to a less sympathetic audience. Give it 2 or 3 years in a top consultancy and frankly noone will care too much (assuming you are not thinking of applying to MBB).Here's a thought - this major consultancy has been considerate enough to offer you a place despite your 2:2 degree, no doubt through consideration of your abilities and whatever mitigating factors affected your studies; why not do yourself a favour and repay the consideration with a little loyalty and commitment for the next 2 years and THEN start to consider next steps?

i am 100% behind Mars on this. Yup do justice for them, stay put for at least another 2 years before serious moonlighting.
