Under no circumstances use your own name, consultancies love it when you play hard to get - they think it's sexy.Maybe stick in a few polaroids of yourself too...

Send it to some anon name like 'Dear Recruiting Person' and was lyrical about how you would like to join their 'esteemed' organisation while showing absolutely no understanding of them. Spend several pages explaining how your unrelated experience is acutually highly relevant because you have x,y,z personal skills which mean you can leap 50K in base in this sector (whatever it is) and under no circumstances demonstrate any ability to use grammar, punctuation or syntax; also remember to be obsequious to the point of begging subservience and underline that you would only be interested if the company will pay for travel and a 4 star hotel for interviews, relocation costs and any work permits you may need. Under no circumstances demonstrate any employable qualities in the cover letter.Covering letter like the ones I get bombarded with? Done.

Don't forget the soft-lit photo showing you in some moody pose on your CV, preferably with a personal introduction - sorry, executive profile - which describes you as dynamic/rainmaker/innovative/results orientated/destined for greatness/rod stewart's love child** Delete as appropriate.

You should use this...Impossible is NOTHING and perhaps some videos of yourself and a young lady dancing, followed by ski-ing and some one handed trouser python wrestling...http://dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com/2006/10/19/the-resume-mocked-round-the-world-vayner-speaks/
