I left consulting just short of four years ago to return home and run my family's business. Long story short - the consumer economy is bust and while I don't need to bail just yet I am trying to figure out what my options are.I would really appreciate people's opinions on how easy it might be to return to consulting after a four year break and what strategies I should pursue if I chose to attempt a return.By way of background, I worked for 6 years for one of the big 4 and left as a Manager. My experience was all in FS and focused in back office transformation. Family business is a 5 store retail chain which I have been buying & strategy director and subsequently MD.Query is largely hypothetical at the moment and all (constructive) thoughts would be welcome! Thanks,Gid
