I've been reading the EY BAS postings with some interest for a while. There is the odd person who joined who doesnt like it- as there is in all organisations. Also, there was a lot of posts some time ago regarding a poor recruitment process. This sounds like common teething troubles of an organisation - they should look to sort this out and, the drop in complaints indicates they might be. What baffles me is the overwhelming negativity from people on the outside who aren't in EY BAS. There are numerous citings of a lack of information about BAS yet, there are numerous postings from people who claim to know it's an IBM/Accenture/CG reject pool run by people who will instill a negative culture. The conclusion I draw is that there is a lot of positive commitment from people to their own organisation. These people riddicule other consultancies like they would other football teams. I think this is a positive for the forum - would be a pretty boring forum without opinion. Personally, I think EY BAS sounds like a good idea- time will tell if it works.

Well - I agree with a fair bit of what you say. Teething problems - launches - yes my thinking was similar.'There is the odd person who joined who doesn't like it' - well yes I suppose so, again that is most probably almost inevitable in a big launch. It's not a positive though of course. I mean this might be some time out of another consultant's career. It is a tough bamboozleingbafflement though when you have interlocking threads to know which bits are true and which aren't. Not a criticism of this site, but a fact of life. 'Overwhelming negativity' - yes and no - it is less overwhelming when you realise that others are not as negative as a few of the post threads both externally, and I guess internally as well. Anyway if you do have to watch it, remember that you don't need to feel too sorry for all footballers - I hear some of them are paid are rather well these days!
