Since this forum often degenerates into "my firm's better than yours", I thought it would be interesting to do a quick poll of who's posting on here. So, who do you work for?I'm an Accenture monkey

I'm an unemployed, multi-lingual, multi-national experienced, C-level interfaced top-tier MBA grad (with honours), who can't get the attention of any consulting firm, so I hate them all. And, lately, I've started to think...I'm better as an individual than as part of a Borg collective. Down with teamwork!

4th interview? Of how many?!To be honest, I've just resigned. I'm sick of executive-sponsored fraudulent time reporting, a culture of 'face-time' and the longer-term IT focus. I wanted to go into consulting for short-term project work, with lots of client-facing time and the ability to see myself making a difference. To be honest, Accenture was just too big for me.It gave me a lot of useful experience and lots of the people are very sharp, but I need more than that. They used me for a few years, and now I've got what I wanted from them. Good luck with your application - I sincerely hope it works out for you. Just remember (and I suspect that this is true of the wider industry) that they will take their pound of flesh and not give you any loyalty, so why should you show loyalty to them?

Had my final interview today and I think I'm gonna go for it. I used to be with a large consulting firm before branching out on my own. It was just too lonely out there so I'm hoping this one will give me the kind of work I'm looking for.Good luck with your new endeavours, I'm sure your time with accenture will serve you well.

"........C-level interfaced top-tier MBA grad........." when I read phrases of this ilk, I find it hard to contain my contempt.....learn to express yourself in a unique and individual way!!!!
