Nobody's going to question your hours. But, what they will question, with laser-like precision, is your contribution to the partnership. By which I mean financial contribution. So you have to make sure you're running a profitable business line. Within most partnerships there is some sort of understanding about just how much the partners want to try and earn each year, and everybody broadly has to be at around that level otherwise you stand out as a non-performer.
