No it isn't and no he doesn't. Firstly, he's [b]not the first[/b] Brit to win Wimbledon since Fred Perry. Virginia Wade did in 1977, and she put an end to 41 years of waiting for a British winner (compared to Andy Murray's measly 36 years.) She got a well deserved OBE in 1986. So, is 13% more effective at making Britain proud at Wimbledon. She had to wait 19 years to get her OBE, so Andy needs to wait 2.5 more years than her. On the basis of this (and not adjusting for the fact that he's male) he can wait until he's 48 which sounds like the right time to me anyhow.
